The Rubber Tree is originally South America. It is a very easy care plant and is known for the milky liquid that oozes from any wound, which is latex and contains about 30% rubber which is used in the production of tires and surgical gloves.

The Rubber tree likes fairly bright, indirect light but will tolerate lower light. They also like to dry out between watering, which makes them easy to care for.
